Our organisation
‘Where there’s a need, there’s a LEO’
“Leadership, Experience, Opportunity.” That is what makes a Leo. Members of Leo clubs embody the best qualities of the LIONS organisation. They are devoted young people who realise the power of action.
There are a lot of ways people can give back to their community — but being a Leo is much more than just service. Choosing Leo clubs will help you grow as an individual and as a leader as you join a global family of young people making the world a better place.
Multiple district 112 Belgium is part of an international network of more than 170,000 leo’s spread over 38 multiple leo districts across 143 countries worldwide, and counts for 2019 more than 500 active members.

Clubs
Each club is responsible for the organisation of different types of activities: Fundraisers, social activities with and for the organisations they support, monthly meetings and teambuilding activities. Therefore, each club has a committee that consists of a president, a vice-president, a secretary, a treasurer and a past-president. Each club has the liberty to determine their own identity.
District level
Belgium has four districts, two of which have a district board. These district boards serve as the link between the clubs and the national board. They organize a district meeting five times a year to discuss updates from our organization. Additionally, they have the freedom to initiate their own projects to support their district.

National level
To support the individual clubs Belgium has a national board. They are responsible for the organisation of the national kick-off, NASOC and the national convention. They also support new clubs or clubs in need. They are also responsible for the connection with the board of Lions.
International level
Leo Clubs Belgium is also active internationally. Our country is represented by our International Liaison Officer (ILO), who maintains contact with other ILOs worldwide. Additionally, Belgium participates in the Leo Europa (Pre)Forum, the Lions Europa Forum, and the Lions Club International Convention.
